As a Project Manager in Precision Medicine, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic and operational excellence across innovative therapeutic programs. You’ll collaborate with scientific, medical, and cross-functional teams to design and implement precision medicine strategies that directly support the development of cutting-edge treatments. This position combines program leadership, scientific understanding, and strategic influence to ensure timely and effective delivery of objectives across multiple disciplines. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment where scientific innovation meets operational rigor, making a measurable impact on advancing personalized healthcare. Accountabilities: • Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of integrated Precision Medicine project plans aligned with broader asset strategies. • Serve as the central point for coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring timelines, quality, and deliverables are met efficiently. • Co-lead with Precision Medicine Leads on content creation for cross-functional meetings and governance reviews. • Conduct risk assessments and apply critical path analysis to anticipate challenges and define mitigation strategies. • Partner closely with Evidence Generation and Product Teams to align discovery, translational, and diagnostic initiatives. • Drive adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope, ensuring program success through proactive issue management. • Apply best practices in Agile and traditional project management to enhance team performance and communication. • PhD or Master’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant project management experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 8–10+ years of experience. • Strong scientific or technical background, ideally with hands-on experience in drug development, translational science, or diagnostics. • Proven experience managing cross-functional programs within the biopharma or consulting environment. • Skilled in project planning, risk management, and strategic execution, with familiarity using tools such as Smartsheet, Planisware, and SharePoint. • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams across complex matrix structures. • Experience managing budgets, governance processes, and operational systems. • PMP certification and knowledge of regulatory requirements and good clinical practices are strong assets. • High proficiency in MS Office Suite and comfort working in Agile or hybrid project environments. • Opportunity to contribute to high-impact precision medicine programs that shape the future of healthcare. • 100% remote flexibility across the U.S. with collaborative digital tools and agile work practices. • Competitive compensation and potential for contract extensions beyond the initial 6 months. • Exposure to cutting-edge scientific innovation within a global biopharmaceutical environment. • Inclusive culture focused on scientific excellence, teamwork, and continuous professional development.
