Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of construction projects in the eastern region of the United States. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from inception to closeout, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our customers. You will lead a team of site supervisory personnel and work closely with our Director of Operations, subcontractors, and customers to deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities Primary person responsible for budget of assigned projects, including developing and managing project schedules and budgets Develop the scope of work for subcontracts, negotiate buyout of subcontractors, and manage subcontractors to the terms and conditions of the subcontract Oversee projects for the entire lifecycle, from receipt of solicitation to closeout of project and receipt of final payment Ensure site staff have necessary authority and resources to effectively carry out their responsibilities Train, manage, and hold accountable site staff, including performing performance evaluations Coordinate and manage all design efforts, including working with design consultants and in-house employees Coordinate and manage all repair/renewal efforts for safe, quality, on-time delivery of projects Create and maintain cost-loaded project schedules in native software (Microsoft Project or Oracle Primavera P6) Generate, route for approval, and actively maintain project-specific submittal registers and plans Perform remote and onsite audits of documentation and work by site staff and subcontractors Work with the Director to continuously develop and revise processes to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and profitability Foster professional development among the team and contribute to succession planning Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: A graduate of a four (4) or five (5) year accredited college or university program in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Architecture Preferred: A Licensed Engineer or Architect 15 years of experience managing a portfolio of construction projects similar to the type of work being performed on this project 5 years of experience developing and managing projects near $1M each or greater Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the construction industry, particularly with government agencies Familiarity with Procore, RMS, Microsoft Office, and other project management software Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and negotiate with subcontractors Skills and Competencies Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to troubleshoot and navigate through contracting and subcontracting issues Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Software Proficiency We require our Project Managers to be proficient in the following software: Procore RMS Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) Physical, Environmental, and Sensory Requirements This position requires: Intermittent sitting, standing, and walking, and occasional bending, reaching, and lifting in office areas Safely walking rough and uneven terrain and avoiding hazards, obstacles, and equipment on construction jobsites Lifting and carrying 40 pounds Moderate exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, moving machinery, etc., typical of a construction site What We Offer As a Project Manager with Workwarp, you will enjoy: A competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for career growth and professional development A dynamic and supportive work environment Relocation, housing allowance, and transportation provided as needed A drug-free workplace with pre-employment substance abuse testing How to Apply If you are a motivated and experienced Project Manager looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
