Project Manager, Remote Position – Southern California

Base range for this position is $100k-$120k Duties and Responsibilities: • Work directly with Construction Managers, Subcontractors, Engineering, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Clients to assist in managing all project aspects, and communicate, track, and manage progress effectively to ensure successful on-time and on-budget network delivery. • Manage the messaging, escalations, and communication of project-related issues and updates between all internal and external stakeholders in a timely and effective manner. • Act as point of escalation for clients while continuing to participate in all site status calls, meetings, and reporting as required by customers. • Manage the internal and client-facing project kick-off and close out processes. • Take accountability to own and drive project issues and challenges to completion and resolution by managing and engaging appropriate resources and personnel as needed. • Establish, implement and maintain standardized procedures for tracking deliverables for each project and updating project milestones and trackers. • Establish and implement internal reporting using deployed software tools to allow senior management to quickly ascertain project status. • Evaluate current procedures and recommend changes as necessary to improve efficiency. Areas include overall operations, use and implementation of technology, and targeted recruitment efforts. • Manage quality control, data entry, and track documentation completion timelines. • Manage preparation and update of site status reports/databases. • Manage the overall coordination, scheduling and tracking of site visits and technical team visits with various departments. • Own the financial aspects of projects including milestone billing and project accounting • Travel to in-person meetings with the client, or internal meetings with Airtower personnel, as well as visits to the project job site(s), may be required. • In some rare instances, this position may be required to be onsite daily for a project for an extended duration. • Estimated local and out-of-market travel time for this role is 10-20%. Experience and Skills Needed: • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant network delivery project management work experience in wireless in-building industry. • A strong communicator and a great listener, enabling you to interact effectively with internal teams and clients. • Solid knowledge and technical expertise in communications infrastructure systems. • Familiarity with Wireless network architecture. • Solid PM Construction Management knowledge working in new development. • High proficiency in reading and understanding construction drawings. • Read and understand design plans to ensure smooth deployment of systems. • Excels in a self‐directed environment. • A work ethic to drive projects and tasks to finish on time, overcoming any obstacles along the way. • The expertise to solve problems, drawing on past experience and using existing resources to effectively resolve any issues. • A desire to take the initiative, seizing opportunities when they arise. • Excellent computer/reporting skills, including a high level of proficiency with MS Excel and other database/project management tracking tools such as Quick Base. • Highly organized and able to multi-task and work effectively with limited supervision. • Highly motivated “self-starter” able to work under aggressive project schedules. • Strong financial acumen to ensure projects are delivered on budget and within acceptable performance margins. • A motivator – the ideal candidate will have the ability to aggressively manage a team while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment. • Basic Electrical knowledge including open/closed circuits, grounding etc. • Basic Radio knowledge including wireless frequency bands, power measurements and wireless protocols (CDMA, UMTS, LTE, GSM, WLAN, Private LTE, C-Band, and CBRS) • Have a reliable personal vehicle used for traveling to client meetings. • Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record Recommended Skills and Tools: • PMP Certificate • OSHA 10/30 Certifications • Quickbase, Hubspot • MS 365, MS Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Project, Word. • SharePoint, Teams, Google Chrome, Edge.
