Project Specialist / Program Coordinator – Nurse Educator Fellowship Program - AP#01
About the position The Project Specialist serves as the Program Coordinator for a Nurse Educator Fellowship Program and is responsible for managing day-to-day program operations. This role supports program planning, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing coordination to ensure a structured, high-quality experience for nursing fellows, faculty, and external partners. Responsibilities • Coordinate all aspects of the fellowship program, including recruitment support, orientation, scheduling, and logistics • Organize and support program events, workshops, seminars, and meetings • Maintain the program calendar to ensure milestones, deadlines, and deliverables are met • Develop and maintain accurate databases and records for fellowship participants • Serve as the primary point of contact for fellows, addressing questions and providing guidance • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new fellows • Track fellow progress to ensure completion of program milestones, evaluations, and required deliverables • Collaborate with faculty to ensure alignment with program goals and curriculum • Support the fellow application process and coordinate with academic institutions on program requirements • Schedule and support meetings between faculty and fellows to foster successful partnerships • Collect and analyze feedback from fellows and faculty to assess program effectiveness • Prepare reports on program outcomes, performance metrics, and participant satisfaction • Support continuous improvement efforts through data analysis and recommendations • Assist with interim and final reports required by funding entities or stakeholders • Act as a liaison between the fellowship program and external partners, accrediting bodies, and stakeholders • Support outreach and promotional efforts to attract qualified fellowship candidates • Assist with budget tracking, reimbursement processing, and expenditure monitoring • Monitor invoicing and billing activity; prepare aging and budget reports as needed • Maintain accurate program documentation, including applications, progress reports, and evaluations • Support grant documentation and funding-related reporting • Ensure program compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and institutional policies • Monitor fellows’ progress toward required certifications • Stay current on best practices and trends in nursing education and fellowship programs Requirements • Strong project management and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education, or a related field (required) • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in program coordination, preferably in a healthcare or educational setting Nice-to-haves • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or educational tools preferred • Knowledge of nursing education standards and practices preferred • Master’s degree in Nursing or Education (preferred) • Prior experience supporting nurse education or fellowship programs is a plus Apply tot his job
