QA Engineer-Entry Level

Position Overview Emonics LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Entry-Level QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team in New York. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals passionate about ensuring software quality and reliability. The QA Engineer will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to test and validate applications throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software functionality and quality. Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools. Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve issues. Participate in requirements review and provide input on testability and potential risks. Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing as needed. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and standards. Stay up to date with emerging QA methodologies, tools, and best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA principles. Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or Postman. Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) is a plus. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications Internship or academic project experience in software testing or QA. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
