Credence has an immediate need for a Qlik Sense Developer to support large-scale digital modernization efforts for mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) systems with massive national impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining robust Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using the Qlik platform (Qlik Sense, NPrinting, etc.) within a complex, high-volume data environment. You will play a key role in transforming diverse data sources into actionable insights, optimizing performance, ensuring security, and driving BI best practices. This role requires deep technical expertise in Qlik, strong data modeling and ETL skills, and the ability to work effectively within secure, mission-critical systems. This position requires both technical leadership and hands-on development expertise in Qlik Sense, SQL, and large-scale DBMSThis position is based in Credence’s corporate offices located in Tyson’s Corner in McLean, VA or Dayton OH. This role is on-boarding now. • Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end BI solutions using Qlik Sense, NPrinting, and Vizlib. Develop robust, scalable, multi-tier architectures and best-practice data models suitable for complex and varied data structures. Ensure designs incorporate high availability, disaster recovery, and enterprise/cloud hosting considerations. • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain sophisticated Qlik Sense applications. Utilize advanced scripting (e.g., Set Analysis), create intuitive UI/UX designs, and build compelling visualizations for complex workflows and KPIs. Optimize applications for performance and scalability against large datasets using QVD optimization, incremental loading, and efficient data extraction from diverse sources (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). • Design, build, and maintain robust ETL processes using Qlik scripting/connectors and potentially other enterprise ETL tools. Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources (databases, APIs, files, legacy systems) into Qlik applications or repositories. Support both batch and streaming pipelines where applicable. • Administer the Qlik Sense Enterprise environment via QMC, including application, stream, and user management; Section Access and security rules; data connections; and task scheduling. • Troubleshoot and resolve platform/application issues, implement monitoring/alerting, and support upgrades and migrations. • Design, develop, schedule, and manage automated reporting solutions using Qlik NPrinting. • Distribute insights securely in various formats and contribute to modernizing legacy reporting capabilities. • Implement and manage Qlik platform security models (Section Access, rules) aligned with stringent DoD security regulations. Contribute to and enforce data governance standards ensuring accuracy, reliability, and auditability. Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with Information Assurance (IA), Quality Assurance (QA), and Change Management (CM) procedures. • BA/BS in a technical discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience in application development, BI, or data visualization. • Proven, hands-on experience developing and optimizing Qlik Sense applications (QlikView experience a plus). Strong skills in Set Analysis, scripting, QVD optimization, incremental loading, and performance tuning. • Experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines using Qlik scripting/connectors and/or other enterprise ETL tools. Ability to integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, APIs, files, legacy systems). • Experience administering Qlik Sense Enterprise environments (QMC), including user/security management, Section Access, data connections, scheduling, and platform monitoring. • Experience with Qlik NPrinting (or similar reporting automation tools) to schedule, distribute, and modernize reporting solutions. • Knowledge of DoD security standards, Information Assurance (IA), and adherence to Quality Assurance (QA) and Change Management (CM) procedures. Familiarity with data governance and compliance frameworks. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks, backlog management, and iterative development processes. • Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC), an active Secret clearance is preferred • Relevant BI certifications (e.g., Qlik Sense Business Analyst, Qlik Data Architect, Qlik System Administrator), and/or DoD 8570 certifications (e.g., Security+). Additional Qualifications Preferred: • Locals Preferred • Active Public Trust /Secret Clearance preferred.
