Job Summary The Quality and Utilization Program Specialist will be responsible for supporting the implementation and oversight of Liberty Dental Plans Quality Management and Improvement Programs. This position will drive quality initiatives, enhance organizational processes, and ensure seamless communication within the Quality team and across departments. The Specialist will coordinate key projects, facilitate meetings, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve program goals and deliver measurable outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assist in implementing quality management and improvement programs by collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals, compliance requirements, and member satisfaction benchmarks. Generate detailed reports based on data analysis and propose actionable quality improvement initiatives to enhance processes and outcomes. Perform accurate and timely administrative intake activities, including the entry and management of QM-related data to ensure smooth operations and reliable reporting. Regularly review, update, and maintain company policies and procedures to reflect current regulations, organizational goals, and best practices. Collect and analyze data to monitor departmental service-level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations, identifying trends and recommending actions to improve performance. Handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly, communicating effectively in writing and verbally with internal departments, external clients, and dental professionals. Plan, schedule, and coordinate meetings, conferences, and teleconferences, ensuring efficient time management and resource allocation. Prepare, distribute, and manage agendas, meeting minutes, and action items to ensure accountability and follow-through on discussions and decisions. Establish and maintain organized electronic filing systems, enabling quick access to critical documents and data for operational needs. Protect all Protected Health Information (PHI) by adhering to Liberty Dental Plans Information Security Policies and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Promote a safe and productive working environment by following established safety guidelines and organizational protocols. Undertake other responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the QM department and the organization. Requirements and Qualifications Education and Experience Minimum High School or GED required. 2 years of office administrative support experience, including a minimum of 1-year prior experience in dental or healthcare. Specific Skills and Knowledge Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues and develop solutions. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to type 30-45 WPM and apply critical thinking to complex issues. Experience in a Quality Management Department preferred. Compensation The base salary for this position is $20.93 - $28.25, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.
