Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist
About the position Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and continuously improve CEO's Quality Program. • Refine CEO's Quality Management Plan (QMP) and contribute to Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs). • Establish and maintain quality assurance monitoring and control measures for active projects and programs. • Conduct periodic assessments of CEO's quality program and recommend corrective actions. • Ensure programs maintain compliance with oversight and fraud prevention processes. • Contribute to an officewide approach for grant compliance and provide training resources to program managers. • Support a culture of performance management and operational excellence. • Manage grant-funded budgets and submit modifications to EPA as needed. • Ensure compliance with Uniform Grant Guidance and manage accounting according to state and federal rules. • Assist in submitting grant information and compliance reporting for various federal acts. • Calculate and analyze grant expenditures and submit required financial reports. Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance or control, performance or financial audits, or related fields. • Understanding of environmental monitoring methodologies and quality assurance principles. • Experience with federal and state grant management and compliance is preferred. • Strong Microsoft Office and Google Suite skills are required. • Ability to adapt to and work with Salesforce and other grant management tools. • Excellent people skills and proven success in leading compliance processes. • Strong time management and organizational skills. • Strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills. Nice-to-haves • Experience with environmental monitoring methodologies and data analysis techniques. • Familiarity with federal and state grant management and sub-recipient fiscal monitoring.
