Quality Assurance Intern

They are seeking a motivated intern to join their Quality Assurance team, providing hands-on experience in developing and maintaining the Quality Management System for analytical technology areas. Responsibilities Supports a variety of Quality Assurance (QA) activities, projects, and initiatives, including process improvement and harmonization, computerized systems validations, and document control Participates in supplier qualification activities, including follow-ups, downloading certificates, etc General administrative activities such as scanning and filing of relevant QA documents Maintains databases for QA test methods and supplier data Compiles periodic quality metrics and assists in the development of associated presentation materials Provides support for members of the QA team at various sites (US and EU) Skills Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in life sciences preferred or other related fields such as legal may be considered Interest in quality assurance in the biotechnology industry Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to conduct research and interpret complex concepts Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Company Overview Discovery Life Sciences, the Biospecimen and Biomarker Specialists™, is a leading provider of highly characterized human biospecimens and cellular starting materials integrated with expert multi-omic analytical services to advance cell and gene therapy and precision medicine programs for cancer, infectious disease, and other complex conditions.
