Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings - carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use. Role Purpose The Regional Channel Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships with distribution channel partners within the assigned region. This role involves building and strengthening relationships, implementing sales strategies to maximize revenue for Corning through the distributor. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, self-motivated individual who can work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to maximize business opportunities. Key Responsibilities • Work with the Regional Sales Manager and Territory Sales Managers to develop and execute the sales strategy to maximize revenue for Corning. • Track and evaluate distributor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs). • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities to grow. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. • 1-2 years of experience in sales, channel sales, partner management or business development. • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. • Strong understanding of channel sales models and strategies • Excellent communication, presentations, and interpersonal skills • Analytical mindset, with the ability to assess data and develop actionable insights. • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) & Microsoft Office Suite This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $60,410.00 - $83,065.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
