Benefits • Excellent medical, dental and vision coverage • 2:1 Match on retirement savings and immediate vesting • Generous Paid Time Off • Tuition and certification support and professional development • No-cost continuing education where applicable Responsibilities • Provide the delivery of culturally sensitive, age-specific team-based care models in delivering nursing care for Primary Care patients including adult medicine, pediatric, and OB/GYN populations. • Perform phone triage, including assessment, screening, clinical advice, nurse visits (in person/video), in-clinic hands-on procedures, and other duties assigned. • Accurate and efficient documentation of nursing care. • Knowledge and appropriate use of internal and external resources. • Provide functional supervision to assistive personnel; collaborate with colleagues, other disciplines, and health care/community services to promote continuity of care. Expectations • Demonstrated critical thinking using the nursing process and prioritization. • Strong customer service, interpersonal skills, and ability to build respectful relationships within and between units. • Accountability, dependability, and punctuality. • Adaptability to changing needs and priorities. • Knowledge and skills in patient and family education and coaching for chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma, CAD). • Proficiency with typing and electronic health record documentation. • Ability to manage complex clinical issues with assessment, protocols, and evidence-based interventions. • Willingness to work with different populations (pediatrics, OB/GYN, adult medicine); orientation/training for new subspecialties may be provided. Qualifications • Three (3) years RN experience in Adult Internal Medicine (inpatient, emergency, or ambulatory) • One (1) year OB/Gyn RN experience in Ambulatory Care, Labor and Delivery NOTE: Required qualifications must be met to be interviewed and considered for the position.
