Registered Telemetry Unit Nurse | Denver, Colorado

Deliver expert care in a fast-paced, specialized setting as a Registered Nurse focused on Telemetry at a respected healthcare facility in Denver, CO. This contract position requires critical thinking, clinical expertise, and leadership to administer top-quality care guided by the Nursing Process and current Nurse Practice Act standards. Utilize your skills in managing patients with complex needs including ventilator and tracheostomy care while collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure smooth, safe patient outcomes. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Active RN license in Colorado or multi-state compact license required • Minimum 2 to 5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in LTAC/Telemetry settings • Current American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications (attach with application) • Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care, central line knowledge strongly preferred • Wound care experience is a significant plus • Ability to manage patient ratios approximately 1:6 Responsibilities: • Own shift accountability for patient care delivery using sound clinical judgment and scientific principles • Delegate and supervise nursing personnel to optimize care efficiency and patient safety • Maintain and enhance clinical competencies through continual learning and training • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans Location: Denver offers a vibrant urban experience with beautiful mountain backdrops, rich cultural activities, and a strong community feel.
