Regulatory Reporting and Compliance Manager

Role Overview As part of the compliance function of the Policy, Regulatory, and Compliance team, the Regulatory Reporting and Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the development, accuracy, and timely submission of all necessary reports to ensure CAA meets the compliance obligations for reporting and information disclosure. Key Responsibilities • Ensure timely and complete submission of quarterly and annual reports to regulators to meet statutory and regulatory reporting requirements for CAA. • Oversee the process of required data sharing with regulators including reported supply volumes and performance measurements. • Manage data that is received from regulators that feeds into operational models. • Work with managers overseeing the management of materials to ensure key KPI and metrics are set, data accuracy, and develop insights for program or reporting improvement based on data results. • Ensure all data on responsible end markets is up to date and accurately reflected in reporting and data sharing with regulators. • Prepare all formal reporting submissions to regulators according to the schedules defined in statute and regulation. • Work with IT team to ensure systems are capturing and outputting data from parties receiving funding from CAA. • Report information metrics and KPIs to internal teams at the state and national levels • Contribute to development of program plan amendments and updates program plan submission. • Engage with local governments, haulers and collection points, as needed to ensure accurate data capture and reporting for compliance. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Skills & Competencies • Demonstrated success in leading compliance reporting efforts for an organization. • Successfully executes areas of responsibility while ensuring work aligns with team goals. • Thinks strategically and executes operationally while balancing priorities and outcomes. • Effectively collaborates with key stakeholders, serving as a resource to ensure successful delivery of services. • Adept at influencing and leading change by envisioning, articulating, and successfully executing operational strategies aligned to strategic objectives while focusing on long-term objectives and short-term priorities. • Uses professional and effective judgment and decision-making skills rooted in logic and sound reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternate approaches, solutions, or conclusions. • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment where change, growth and innovation are a constant. • Experience working in a complex, multi-faceted environment with several competing priorities. • Experience working with Salesforce.com platform • Knowledge of Workday financial systems for reporting • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, problem solving, planning, and execution skills. • Effective communications skills which can build relationships with communities, internal CAA teams and at all levels in the CAA organizational structure. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Regulatory Affairs, Public Policy, Data and Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required • At least five years of related experience required • Experience leading program innovation or start-ups preferred Compensation & Other Information • Location: Fully Remote • Pay Rate: Based on a variety of factors in accordance with applicable law including the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge and experience.
