Job Summary We are seeking a full-time Release Train Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, preferably with experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector. As a Release Train Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating Agile Release Train (ART) events, ensuring alignment across teams, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and facilitate ART events, including Program Increment (PI) Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect and Adapt sessions. Ensure alignment across teams to meet delivery objectives and manage the overall program backlog, prioritizing features and enablers to ensure effective delivery. Act as a mentor for Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members on Agile practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and commitment to excellence. Track progress and metrics, reporting on program performance to stakeholders and identifying potential risks and dependencies across teams. Work proactively to mitigate risks that may impact outcomes and promote processes that enhance quality and efficiency in delivery. Facilitate regular retrospectives and post-mortems to foster learning and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders. Ensure that stakeholders are updated on project statuses, concerns, and achievements. Qualifications Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration). Minimum of 6+ years of experience in an Agile environment, preferably as a Release Train Engineer or similar role. Previous background in Banking and Financial Services sector. Proven experience leading complex projects in a dynamic setting. Knowledge of Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban). Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, or similar). Preferred Qualifications SAFe RTE certification or equivalent. Experience working in a leadership capacity on a Scaled Agile framework.
