As an Account Coordinator, you will provide vital support to the account team servicing travel and tourism clients, focusing on executing foundational elements of successful PR campaigns. Responsibilities • Assist in writing and distributing pitch letters, news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, and newsletters • Create and maintain accurate media lists, handle routine inquiries, and begin developing relationships with external audiences to convey our clients' messages • Conduct basic research into client industries to stay current; monitor media coverage and report on trends or news affecting our clients' business • Help coordinate specific events and promotions under the guidance of a supervisor • Manage the 'nitty-gritty' of account service, including billing assistance, activity reports, and the preparation/distribution of publications Skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively under pressure • Detail-oriented with a knack for working with detailed information and a high level of computer literacy • Basic understanding of public relations principles and a genuine interest in the tourism/travel industry • Collaborative mindset and interpersonal skills needed to work with internal departments and external vendors • Completed a PR/Marketing internship or have up to one year of agency experience Benefits • Unmetered PTO • Paid Holidays • Volunteer Time • Medical • Dental • Vision • Short Term and Long Term Disability • Accident Insurance • Parental Leave • Life Insurance • 401k with match Company Overview • Madden Media is a marketing and advertising company providing tourism and travel marketing services.
