[Remote] AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) Manager for a contract opportunity with long-term potential. The role involves leading research, strategy development, and implementation of AEO initiatives to enhance brand discoverability in generative AI platforms and managing technical AEO initiatives. Responsibilities • Analytical, Problem-solver, naturally curious • Able to lead change in a corporate environment • Passionate about digital marketing and innovation • Self-starter, Curious, Decision-maker • Opportunity to make a change and overall impact • Interaction level with team: Content marketing team, Product marketing team • Lead research, strategy development, and implementation of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) for our client • Increase brand discoverability in generative AI platforms by leveraging on-page and off-page optimization tactics • Design and test AEO-friendly content structures for webpages, blogs, review listings, and new content types • Manage technical AEO initiatives, including log file analysis, robots directives, schema markup, structured data, and Core Web Vitals • Perform in-depth prompt, platform, and competitor analysis. Manage strategy, implementation, and reporting for traditional SEO • Guide marketing through the next shifts in consumer behavior caused by agentic AI, ambient AI, and future developments • Implement AEO visibility tracking to provide biweekly AEO performance metrics with recommendations • How will this candidate know they are succeeding in their role: • Based on changes that are implemented • Actionable strategy plan • Reporting plan implemented • Improvement of rankings Skills • Must have experience in SEO, content strategy, digital marketing, AI, SEO Tools, CMS platforms and AEO or AI search optimization • Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog • CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, etc • Experience with driving revenue • Experience in SEO and content strategy • Change management experience • AI and AEO management experience • 5 years of experience in SEO and content strategy, with work as both an individual contributor and strategy leader • 5 years of demonstrated experience driving revenue from data-driven digital marketing strategies • 1 years of AI proficiency with a deep understanding of LLMs and prompting • 3 years of experience turning marketing analytics into actionable recommendations • 3 years of competency with keyword research and strategic content planning • 3 years of expertise in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO tools • 3 years of experience with website development technologies and CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, etc Benefits • Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) • 401(k) plan • Paid sick leave (depending on work location) Company Overview • Pyramid Consulting, a global leader in workforce and technology solutions, empowers individuals and organizations to transform and thrive in the most challenging and competitive markets.
