[Remote] Benefits Analyst, Group Force Benefits

NFP is a leading insurance brokerage and consulting firm, and they are seeking a Benefits Analyst at Group Force Benefits Inc. to manage client relationships and ensure the successful delivery of client presentations. The role involves financial data entry, analyzing proposals, and maintaining organization within the internal filing system. Responsibilities Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your assigned client group and advisor Financial data entry for renewals and marketing (i.e. Experience info, rate history, demographic data, etc.) Ensure the timely and successful delivery of client presentations (new business/ renewal) for potential clients as well as existing ones: Renewals – 30 days prior to the renewal date New Business – 10 business days / 15 business days (large group) Maintain full workload on our internal filing system (SharePoint) Analyzing proposals from carriers for new prospects (rates, plan design, TLR, etc.) Skills Typically, 1+ years of experience within the Group Benefits industry, preferably in an MGA setting Some knowledge of group benefit plans, plan design, etc Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including basic formulas, calculations, etc Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities High level of accuracy, organization and attention to detail Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with a variety of people Ability to effectively prioritize and manage numerous tasks simultaneously with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Bilingual would be an asset Professional benefits designation is an asset (such as GBA, CEBS, etc) Benefits Annual bonus plan for all employees Matching RRSP plan of 5% of salary Referral Commission Plan Generous benefits plan including Health Care Spending Account starting on the first day of employment Full support for continuing education & internal opportunities to grow as an insurance professional to advance career Reimbursement of license fees and professional membership dues Company Overview NFP, an Aon company, helps companies and individuals address today’s most significant Risk Capital and Human Capital challenges.
