[Remote] Business Analyst/Scrum Master

They are seeking a Business Analyst/Scrum Master to facilitate agile processes, guide teams, and improve business processes through effective requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities • Facilitate daily standups, Sprint reviews, Retrospectives and Iteration/sprint planning meetings • Guide the team from over-committing and scope creep. Aid in estimation and sub task creation • Work as the administrator of the scrum board. Ensure that cards are up to date and the scrum tools like Jira are working well • Meet individually with team members and stakeholders as needed. Iron out team disagreements about process and work styles. Many scrum practitioners oppose 1on1, believing these communications should happen during standups. However, new teams often prefer to have these regular face-to-face interactions with specific team members. The scrum master may decide that these individual interactions are crucial for team development and getting to know one another • Guide the team by eliminating external blockers and managing internal roadblocks through process or workflow improvements • Influence stakeholders to support business projects • Validate existing business processes and recommend improvements • Lead requirements gathering sessions and document the resulting requirements • Work with functional users to identify, prioritize and document requirements • Support requirements prioritization and backlog grooming sessions • Assist in customer/user meeting preparation, process planning and scheduling • Interact with customers to provide and process guidance in response to process reviews, inquiries, concerns, and requests • Assist in developing and presenting routine and ad hoc project management reports • Assist with the planning and management of document templates • Assist with the development of meetings agendas and the subsequent capture and distribution of meeting minutes and action items • Ensure all team guidance, work products, and related documents are updated and posted to a common document repository • Identify and assess process and operational inefficiencies, identify gaps, and develop recommendations on business process improvements and support the implementation and monitoring activities associated with these initiatives Skills • Bachelor's Degree is required, 10 years overall experience plus 5 years of Scrum Master experience • Scrum Master Certification • Strong written and verbal communication skills that translate well into requirements baselines that both technical experts and business owners can understand • Ability to provide detailed, comprehensive, testable and traceable process components in a number of formats • Experience performing operational analysis of business processes and web-based applications Benefits • Company-supported medical, dental, vision, life, STD, and LTD insurance • 11 federal holidays and PTO • Eligible employees may receive performance-based incentives in recognition of individual and/or team achievements. • 401(k) with company matching • Flexible Spending Accounts for commuter, medical, and dependent care expenses • Tuition Assistance • Charitable Contribution matching Company Overview • Halvik provides full end-to-end software and management solutions.
