[Remote] Business Development Representative
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Clearscale is a high-growth AWS Premier Consulting Partner specializing in cloud-native solutions. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to identify and create new sales opportunities for organizations leveraging AWS, serving as a foundational role in their sales team. Responsibilities Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to identify and engage potential clients within target accounts Qualify leads based on organizational structure, technical challenges, budget, authority, need, and timeline (e.g., BANT qualification) Identify key decision-makers and influencers involved in cloud strategy and technology procurement Schedule discovery calls and initial meetings for Account Executives with qualified prospects Track all activity, maintain a clean database, and accurately log all prospect interactions in the CRM (Hubspot) Develop and execute personalized outreach strategies targeting specific use cases (e.g., AWS migrations, modernization, cost optimization, security) Develop a strong understanding of our professional services offerings across the core AWS pillars (e.g., Compute, Storage, Networking, Security) Articulate our value proposition as an AWS Premier Partner and the business benefits of cloud adoption Stay current on AWS services, partner programs, and competitive landscape Work closely with Marketing to optimize campaigns and messaging based on performance Participate in training and development sessions to enhance sales skills and AWS knowledge Skills 1-2 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar outbound sales/telemarketing role, preferably within a B2B technology environment Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and persuasive demeanor Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly quota targets Proficiency with CRM software (Hubspot) and prospecting tools (e.g., Salesloft, Outreach, Zoom Info, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) A strong desire to learn technical concepts, specifically related to cloud computing and AWS Experience selling or promoting cloud services, consulting, or managed services AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification (or a commitment to achieve it within the first 90 days) Knowledge of common enterprise IT challenges (e.g., data center retirement, technical debt, security/compliance) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with CRM software and prospecting tools Strong desire to learn technical concepts related to cloud computing AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification Experience in a B2B technology environment Benefits Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401k) Full support for achieving AWS certifications and continuous professional development Dedicated career path toward an Account Executive or other sales roles Company Overview AWS Premier Consulting Partner delivering best-of-breed cloud systems integration, application development, and managed services.
