[Remote] Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative, you will engage with potential clients, conduct outreach, and collaborate with sales teams to drive revenue growth. Responsibilities Lead Generation: Proactively identify and research potential clients through various channels, including online research and social media Cold Outreach: Conduct outreach via email, phone, and social media to engage with prospects and introduce them to our products/services Qualify Leads: Assess the needs and challenges of prospects to determine if they are a good fit for our solutions, and schedule meetings or demos for the sales team Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of all activities and communications in the CRM system, ensuring the sales pipeline is up-to-date and well-organized Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align on target markets, messaging, and lead generation strategies Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to identify new business prospects Skills Tenacity to persevere through challenging situations and achieve goals Empathy to understand and connect with potential customers about topics important to them Curiosity to learn about customers' businesses and pain points Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Positive attitude and a willingness to learn No prior sales experience needed Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required) 2 years post-grad work experience of face-to-face customer service, retail, or hospitality, is a plus Benefits Performance bonus 401k matching Excellent benefits Company Overview At Tribute Technology, we help funeral professionals create meaningful, memorable experiences through innovative and thoughtful technology.
