About the Opportunity As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service to Maryland consumers. This is a 100% remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home, provided you meet the necessary equipment and internet connection requirements. Key Responsibilities Process Maryland Medicaid accounts and provide customer support via phone, email, or chat Assist individuals, families, and small group employees with Medicaid eligibility and enrollment inquiries Utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to perform tasks and duties Provide high-quality service to Maryland consumers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues Work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously Maintain perfect attendance during training and nesting periods (7 weeks) Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification Recent call center experience, preferably in a customer service or healthcare setting Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations Background in healthcare, human services, or customer service Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with data entry and call center software Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility and enrollment processes Previous experience working with CRM software and State eligibility and enrollment portals Technical Requirements To work remotely as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you must meet the following technical requirements: Desktop or laptop with Intel Core i5 Processor or higher and 8GB Memory (no Celeron or Pentium processors) Minimum of 256GB hard drive Windows 10 or 11 operating system Minimum of 1 USB Gen 2 or newer port (wired headset) 1 RJ-45 connection for a wired connection to internet router Wired headset and microphone with a USB Gen2 or newer connection Video camera capability (necessary for training) Wired internet connection with download speed of 100 MBPS minimum and upload speed of 10 MBPS minimum Android or Apple smartphone with working camera and capability of installing necessary applications At least 30GB free storage space available on your PC What to Expect As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you can expect: A competitive hourly rate of $16.63 A comprehensive training program to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge A structured schedule of 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm EST Regular breaks, including two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch Opportunities for career growth and professional development within blithequark About blithequark blithequark is a trusted leader in workforce management services, with over 30 years of experience delivering strategic solutions to businesses across various industries.
