About the Role This role is a key component of our Business Intelligence (BI) team, supporting the day-to-day operations of our transportation division. As a Data Analyst, you'll work closely with stakeholders to navigate complex data landscapes, providing actionable insights that drive swift decision-making. Key Responsibilities Work with large, chaotic, and dynamic datasets to conduct ad-hoc analyses that inform critical business decisions. Develop ETLs (Extract, Transform, Load) or processes that consolidate data from various sources into unified tables. Create data visualizations to monitor and measure the impact of changes and special business initiatives. Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams to establish credibility and share relevant insights. Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks related to reporting, such as screen captures, metrics prioritization, and anomaly detection. Document your processes and share your knowledge with peers, fostering a culture of expertise within the team. Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, demonstrating a solid educational foundation. Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity. Creativity and a client experience mindset to develop meaningful Tableau dashboards. Business Operations Familiarity, with the ability to understand and root cause business issues. A Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience, is a significant plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally, collaborating with various stakeholders.
