A Day in the Life: As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for accurate data entry and seamless collaboration with colleagues within our pharmacy administration process. You'll be a key member of our front-end team, focused on order entry, meticulous accuracy, and delivering outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities: Prioritize and address customer service requests based on urgency and information needs. Verify and confirm the accuracy of dispensed medications. Assist in monitoring controlled substance (opioid) prescriptions for compliance. Provide pharmacists with critical information regarding allergies, drug interactions, and relevant alerts. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Required Qualifications: Valid certification/license as a pharmacy professional or as required by state regulations. One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy professional. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in long-term care. PTCB certification. High school diploma or GED.
