[Remote] Data Science Expert - AI Trainer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Weekday AI is seeking experienced Data Science professionals to support high-impact research collaborations with leading AI labs. In this role, you will improve AI systems through tasks such as code validation, prompt refinement, algorithmic evaluation, and model benchmarking. Responsibilities • Review and refine AI-generated prompts, responses, and code • Validate technical concepts for accuracy and clarity • Provide structured feedback on solution quality and relevance • Tag, organize, and categorize content by topic and complexity • Support benchmarking initiatives to evaluate model capabilities Skills • 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied statistics (industry or research) • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with R, Java, or Scala is a plus • Hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning models with frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch • Expertise in statistical analysis, data wrangling, and feature engineering on large datasets • Advanced degree preferred Education Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative field (advanced degree preferred) Benefits • Independent contractor arrangement • Daily payments via Stripe Connect Company Overview • We are a YC-backed recruitment startup.
