The role involves architecting efficient systems, automating processes, and ensuring high availability across a portfolio of products while transitioning to a unified AWS environment. Responsibilities • Planning and executing complex infrastructure transitions, including migrations from legacy platforms to AWS cloud infrastructure and lift-and-shift migrations • Designing and deploying monitoring strategies and creating automations for monitoring, software deployments, and operational processes • Conducting system monitoring, system backups, incident management, database migrations, database configurations, and cost optimization • Drive reliability and standardization of cloud infrastructure across our growing product portfolio by implementing robust monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices Skills • Deep AWS infrastructure expertise (this is our primary platform - other cloud experience alone won't cut it) • Experience scripting with Python and Bash for day-to-day administration operations • Experience managing and migrating production databases with multiple engines (including MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL) • Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation) • Linux systems administration expertise Company Overview • Crossover is a global recruitment company, founded in 2014.
