REMOTE EST - Animator, Video

Job Description A large software and gaming company is looking for a mid-level Animator to join a Video production team. In this position, you will be responsible for creating and modifying animations to help facilitate the creation of shortform marketing assets. In this role, you will You will be creating and modifying animated character poses for the Video Production team, assisting with the production of shortform CG content for social media. In addition, you will be asked to assist with camera layouts with an emphasis on 9:16 shortform video content. You will be animating and working in Unreal Engine 5. Collaborate with leads in a dailies-style critique environment, find optimal solutions, and address basic animation issues as they arise. Refine facial and pose animations as needed to ensure they reach the best quality of polish within the project timeline. Skills and Requirements A strong animation reel showing expertise in keyframe animation, posing, and character appeal Experience with the principles of cinematography, composition, color, and lighting in visual media Familiarity with social media visuals/trends and how it influences performance/pacing in video content Excellent communicator and problem solver Relevant experience in Maya and Unreal gameplay systems Familiarity with the Unreal Engine 5 animation workflow Good instincts for character appeal Comfortable coordinating with Outsource partners and coordinating outsource videos Experience with Sequencer and Control Rig tools in UE5 Familiarity with tech animation + animdynamics null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
