[Remote] Government Contract Sourcing Specialist (1099/Part-Time)

SECO Group LLC is seeking a highly experienced Government Contract Sourcing Specialist with a strong background in identifying, sourcing, and securing government contracting opportunities. This part-time position is designed for a motivated professional with over 10 years of experience who will guide the company in strengthening its understanding of the government procurement landscape. Responsibilities • Proactively identify and source government contracting opportunities through SAM, FPDS, AFWERX, GSA, DLA, and other federal platforms. • Leverage established industry contacts (agencies, primes, contracting officers) to generate opportunities and build relationships. • Write, prepare, and submit proposals and quotes on behalf of SECO Group LLC, with approval from the Managing Partner. • Monitor bid opportunities, solicitations, and contract updates to ensure timely responses. • Maintain knowledge of federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS) and ensure compliance in all submissions. • Provide guidance and limited training to SECO Group LLC’s internal team on contracting best practices and systems. • Track submitted proposals and assist in negotiations as required. Skills • 10+ years of proven experience in government contracting, procurement, or related fields. • Strong knowledge of the federal acquisition process and procurement lifecycle. • Demonstrated success in sourcing, preparing, and winning bids across a variety of federal agencies. • Proficiency with SAM, FPDS, AFWERX, GSA, DLA, WAFW/PIEE, USAspending.gov, Subnet, Deltek GovWin and other government contracting tools/platforms. • Established relationships within the government contracting community (agencies, primes, contracting officers). • Excellent writing, communication, and proposal development skills. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with the SECO Group LLC leadership team.
