[Remote] Graphic Designer I

In this role, you will create visually compelling designs that enhance the accessibility and inclusivity of training software, ensuring alignment with brand standards and guidelines. Responsibilities Creating visual assets that align with training scripts, including illustrations, icons, layouts, and other graphic elements Maintaining visual consistency across all training materials to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and a cohesive learner experience Designing with accessibility in mind, ensuring all visual elements support inclusive learning for diverse audiences Producing multimedia learning materials in various formats, including static graphics, animations, and interactive visuals Designing vector illustrations, typography, and other graphic components to enhance engagement and comprehension Researching design trends and tools to continuously improve the creativity, effectiveness, and innovation of our visual content Other duties as assigned Skills Demonstrated creative flair and strong graphic design skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects Ability to follow brand guidelines meticulously and maintain visual consistency Experience with current and emerging digital media and design technologies Strong creative thinking and technical expertise in graphic design principles Ability to conduct design research, introduce innovative ideas, and troubleshoot complex design challenges Confident, proactive attitude with a collaborative mindset and commitment to meeting critical deadlines Proficiency in English to interact, support and/or provide services to non-French speaking customers, employees and/or partners inside and/or outside the province of Quebec Hands-on experience in video animation using tools such as After Effects and Premiere Pro A diverse portfolio showcasing commercial or corporate graphic design and video work Benefits Competitive benefits Personal and professional development opportunities Flexibility Company Overview Fortra provides product training, product services, managed services, and consulting services.
