Job Summary We're seeking a compassionate and talented Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll act as an extended business office representative for our healthcare clients, helping patients and their families understand their medical bills, answering their questions, and resolving account balances. Key Responsibilities Using empathy and excellent communication skills to help patients and their families understand their medical bills and resolve any issues. Providing outstanding customer service by collaborating with patients over the phone to establish affordable payment plans and taking payments. Utilizing computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail to accurately document all calls and follow-ups in our software systems. Supporting your fellow team members through consistent attendance, an excellent work ethic, and a caring team focus. Continuously improving your performance with supportive coaching and feedback from your manager and team leads, along with ongoing training. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Empathy and the ability to understand and relate to patients' concerns. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in computer software systems (training provided for our specific systems). A high school diploma or equivalent; previous customer service experience is highly valued. You'll enjoy a competitive base annual pay ranging from $37,440 to $43,680, based on your prior experience. In addition to your base pay, you'll have the opportunity to earn monthly performance bonuses ranging from $100 to $400.
