Remote Healthcare Call Center Representative Location: Remote – Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia Start Date: DECEMBER 22ND - CONTRACT TO HIRE Experience Level: Entry Level Do you have a passion for helping patients and navigating the healthcare system? as a Healthcare Call Center Representative, where you’ll provide compassionate support and accurate information to patients and providers. This role is more than answering calls—it’s about being a trusted guide through insurance verification, documentation, and care coordination. What You’ll Do • Serve as the first point of contact for patients and providers, answering inbound calls and emails with empathy and professionalism. • Assist patients with questions about medical equipment, insurance coverage, and healthcare services. • Verify insurance eligibility, coverage details, co-insurance, and deductibles. • Obtain pre-authorizations and submit physician orders to insurance carriers when required. • Navigate multiple EMR systems to review and update patient records accurately. • Process orders, route calls to appropriate departments, and follow up to ensure timely resolution. • Communicate with patients when documentation does not meet payer guidelines, offering solutions to keep the referral process moving. • Collaborate with Customer Service and Management to identify and share trends for process improvement.
