[Remote] HR Documentation and Compliance Specialist with Public Health experience- Remote + 25% Travel

They are seeking an HR Documentation and Compliance Specialist to enhance compliance processes and digitize HR documentation procedures, ensuring consistency and training staff on new standards. Responsibilities • Facilitate Working Sessions: Schedule and facilitate working sessions with client HR leaders or staff as needed to clearly define current state and obtain additional information and insights necessary to inform process assessment and optimization, ensuring comprehensive and accurate documentation • Document existing processes: Thoroughly document the current processes used for conducting policy compliance audits, detailing workflows, roles, and responsibilities. Conduct a comprehensive analysis of these audit processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement • Develop future state processes: Design a future state process for compliance audits, clearly outlining the enhanced workflows, roles, and responsibilities. Identify specific actions and steps required to transition from the current state to the future state, ensuring a smooth and efficient implementation • Create standard digital HR document templates and governance processes: Develop standardized digital HR document templates, including naming conventions, and security protocols, as well as the document governance, archiving, and storage processes. This will ensure consistency and security across all HR documentation and document lifecycle management • Identify and retire obsolete documents: Review the existing HR documents to identify obsolete document types that are no longer needed. Develop a plan for the systematic retirement of these outdated documents to streamline the documentation process • Develop a training course: Create a comprehensive training course for employees and managers on the new compliance and HR documentation processes. This course will cover the updated procedures, ensuring that all staff members are knowledgeable and capable of adhering to the newly defined standards Skills • Strong listening skills and empathy to appreciate the unique nature of client's business and operational constraints • Attention to detail needed to analyze current audit and compliance processes and HR document types • Patience and flexibility needed to respond to evolving client requests • Persistence to finish standard operating procedures despite organizational and client constraints • Proven experience in Human Resources function and HR compliance administration • Strong knowledge of HR compliance processes in the health care sector and unionized environment • Experience with HR technology applications such as Oracle EBS, Salesforce and Workforce • Experience with document storage and management • Experience with digital documentation, document lifecycle management, and integration with digital platforms • Strong written communication skills, able to write complex topics in straightforward and easy to understand terms • Bachelor's degree in a subject that emphasizes strong writing skills • Strong writing skills • Knowledge of HR leaves processes • Attention to detail • Experience with rapid and iterative development and content creation Company Overview • DTI (Diversified Technology Inc.)
