[Remote] Icon Artist

They are seeking an Icon Artist to design realistic-style icons for in-game abilities and resources, ensuring visual consistency and collaborating closely with game designers and developers. Responsibilities • Design realistic-style icons for in-game abilities, items, and resources. • Create ability icons that visually represent a champion’s powers, personality, and role through pose, color, and style. • Illustrate resource icons (e.g., coins, books, crafting materials) that are instantly recognizable and consistent with the game’s aesthetic. • Design UI elements such as avatar frames, champion progression frames, and decorative badges. • Ensure visual consistency across all iconography and UI assets. • Collaborate closely with game designers, UI/UX designers, and developers to support gameplay clarity and player immersion. • Optimize assets for performance across multiple platforms. Skills • Strong portfolio showcasing realistic-style icon art, preferably for games. • Proficiency in industry-standard tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar digital painting tools). • Solid understanding of form, lighting, color theory, and composition. • Ability to match and maintain a consistent art style. • Confident communication skills in English (writing mainly). • Basic rendering knowledge in Blender or similar software is a big plus. • Experience working in a game development environment is a plus. • Familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus.
