[Remote] IT Security Analyst

The Library Corporation (TLC) has been servicing the Library Industry since 1974, providing premier automation, cataloging, and data services. They are seeking an IT Security Analyst to maintain and improve cybersecurity, manage security assessments, and support incident response efforts while engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Maintain company internal security assessments Manage in-house and third party security assessments and exercises Research and prioritize new security threats, risks, and potential solutions Support security incident response efforts Oversee employee security-related training and certification Handle customer security-related inquiries escalated from Customer Support Contribute to security-related communications to employees and customers, such as advisories and after-action reports Other IT-related duties as assigned Skills A bachelors degree in cyber security, or equivalent is required Prior professional experience in a cyber security position is preferred, but not required Prior experience with key security tools is preferred, but not required Penetration testing software, such as Burp Suite or Nessus SIEM systems, such as Wazuh Intrusion detection and prevention systems Firewalls and network security tools Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, SOC 2 and FedRAMP are preferred, but not required Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory is preferred, but not required Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems is preferred, but not required Experience working in or with school library media centers or public libraries is preferred, but not required Benefits Paid time off Health Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Dependent Care Account (DCA) Health Savings Account (HSA) Company Overview The Library Corporation is a library offering collection development services.
