Remote Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator

Our client, a global leader in e-commerce fulfillment, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Remote Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within the US, managing critical aspects of our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring the efficient flow of products from suppliers to our distribution centers and ultimately to our customers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong analytical skills, and excels at problem-solving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will work closely with internal teams, external carriers, and suppliers to streamline logistics processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance. Responsibilities: Coordinate all inbound and outbound logistics, including freight, shipping, and receiving. Monitor inventory levels across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and implementing strategies to prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and third-party logistics providers (3PLs). Negotiate shipping rates and contract terms with vendors and carriers to optimize costs. Track shipments and proactively address any delays or issues to ensure timely delivery. Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, inventory status, and cost savings initiatives. Implement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS). Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast demand and plan accordingly. Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and documentation requirements. Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics and supply chain processes. Manage customs clearance and international shipping documentation when required. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain coordination, or transportation management. Proven experience with WMS and TMS software. Strong understanding of freight operations, international shipping, and customs procedures. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote teams and external partners. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, remote work environment. Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented. Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
