Job Summary SysTechCare Support is seeking detail-oriented and dedicated healthcare revenue cycle professionals to join our remote team. As a Remote Medical Biller or Revenue Cycle Specialist, you will be responsible for managing patient accounts, processing medical claims, and ensuring accurate reimbursement from insurance providers. You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and compliance while providing exceptional support to healthcare providers and patients. Key Responsibilities • Accurately review, prepare, and submit medical claims to insurance carriers. • Manage patient billing and accounts, including statements, payments, and follow-bolthires. • Verify insurance eligibility and coverage details for patients. • Identify and resolve claim denials, rejections, or discrepancies in a timely manner. • Collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams to ensure accurate coding and documentation. • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations. • Generate financial and performance reports related to claims processing and accounts receivable. • Provide exceptional service to patients regarding billing inquiries and concerns. • Continuously identify process improvements to enhance revenue cycle efficiency. Required Skills and Qualifications • Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS), and claims processing. • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and billing software. • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel for reporting and data analysis. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines. • Analytical thinking to identify billing errors and optimize revenue cycle processes. Experience • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare claims processing. • Experience with insurance verification, patient account management, and reimbursement analysis preferred. • Prior remote work experience is a plus but not required. Working Hours • Full-time remote positions with flexible schedules. • Typical hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (may vary based on client or provider requirements). • Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Comprehensive understanding of healthcare insurance policies and reimbursement procedures. • Ability to analyze billing and payment trends for continuous improvement. • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling patient information. • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and claims efficiently. • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
