Position Overview We're seeking a highly skilled Medical Transcriptionist Assistant to work remotely, supporting our in-house transcription team in managing outsourced transcription projects. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for monitoring job progress, ensuring quality assurance, and troubleshooting issues with our transcription application. Key Responsibilities Monitor QA jobs for accuracy, ensuring high-quality patient records and adherence to medicolegal standards. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the medicolegal implications and responsibilities related to transcription, protecting patient confidentiality and facility integrity. Operate designated word processing, dictation, and transcription equipment as directed to complete assignments efficiently. Assist and troubleshoot issues with the Transcription Application for providers, ensuring seamless workflow and minimal downtime. Perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our transcription team. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To excel in this role, you'll need: A High School diploma; an associate degree in business or a related field is preferred. Medical Transcription or knowledge of electronic medical records; previous experience in a medical transcription setting is highly valued. Advanced computer literacy with computer software applications; proficiency in transcription software and equipment is a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology; a strong understanding of medical concepts and terminology is essential.
