[Remote] Mercury Ignite: Data Science Graduate Development Program

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mercury Insurance is seeking graduates to join their remote Graduate Program in Data Science. This 12-month program offers hands-on experience with real business projects and rotations through key verticals within Data Science, culminating in a dedicated role. Responsibilities Complete a structured rotation through different areas of Data Science, building a solid foundation in advanced analytical techniques, statistical methods, and machine learning algorithms Identify relevant data sources, perform feature engineering, and collaborate with engineering teams to implement models into production Create and maintain monitoring procedures for model performance and proactively look for ways to improve accuracy and automation Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Business Intelligence, and IT teams to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable business strategies Design automated dashboards and reports (using Python, SQL, or BI tools) to communicate results to stakeholders Skills Be legally eligible to work in the U.S Recently completed a bachelor's or both bachelor's and master's degree in a quantitative or Information Technology field (computer science, Data science, etc.) Able to provide a cumulative GPA, as reported by your school.
