As a Remote Online Chat Specialist, you'll be the primary point of contact for customers visiting our client's websites, providing timely and accurate assistance to their queries. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer support via online chat, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in real-time. Evaluate customer interactions and escalate complex issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary. Build strong relationships with new customers to understand their needs and preferences. Respond to customer questions, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and professionally. Promote interest in client products and services, staying up-to-date on their offerings and features. Maintain a positive and professional image, consistently achieving established standards of the position. Provide administrative support to the customer service team, assisting with overflow work and other duties as needed. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team-oriented environment. Excellent PC keyboarding and internet skills, with the ability to navigate through various software applications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. An upbeat, positive attitude and professional demeanor, with a client-facing role experience. Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English. Basic technical skills, including the ability to navigate through smartphone and computer applications. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge: Ability to compose professional emails and communicate effectively via digital channels. Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer support. Familiarity with online chat software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
