[Remote] Outbound Sales Coordinator

As an Outbound Sales Coordinator, you will engage with retirement plan participants and retail customers, generating interest and scheduling appointments that lead to sales or consultations with financial advisors. Responsibilities Responsible for making a high volume of outbound calls to individuals who are considered warm leads because they have expressed an interest in Empower's innovative financial services May utilize pre-defined scripts, based on the needs of the participant, assesses whether a meeting with a financial consultant makes sense for the individual Help troubleshoot issues that users may have with the financial dashboard and relay to the technical support team May transfer calls to appropriate departments to assist customer questions on their account Interact with prospective clients via phone, chat, and email Properly record interactions within customer relationship management software Gather contact information, questions and concerns and other screening information for the appointment Ensure high completion rate for appointments Skills High school diploma or equivalent Ability to interpret customer needs and match those with a related product or service Proven abilities to maintain appropriate policies & procedures for regulatory-driven requirements Excellent operational, organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage and process complex operational work FINRA fingerprinting required Associate's degree Previous financial experience and/or investment product and services knowledge Proven investment advisory sales skills including proactive outbound calling efforts Sales experience Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented, and collaborative Benefits Medical, dental, vision and life insurance Retirement savings – 401(k) plan with generous company matching contributions (up to 6%), financial advisory services, potential company discretionary contribution, and a broad investment lineup Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250/year Business-casual environment that includes the option to wear jeans Generous paid time off upon hire – including a paid time off program plus ten paid company holidays and three floating holidays each calendar year Paid volunteer time — 16 hours per calendar year Leave of absence programs – including paid parental leave, paid short- and long-term disability, and Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) Business Resource Groups (BRGs) – BRGs facilitate inclusion and collaboration across our business internally and throughout the communities where we live, work and play.
