[Remote] Philadelphia Protestant Home – Executive Director

The Executive Director will provide leadership and oversight of the Life Plan Community, ensuring high-quality services and care for residents while managing resources and budgets effectively. Responsibilities • Promotes the Health and Wellness Philosophy of EverTrue; Ensures a “resident focus” is maintained by all staff and that a home like environment is provided for each resident; Maintains close contact with residents and is available to families. Enhances culture and builds relationships with staff, residents, and families • Promotes a customer focus by building and maintaining relationships, seeking feedback, and improving customer service; Assists with resolving resident/family grievances if unresolved at the departmental level; Serves as a resident advocate and ensures resident’s rights are preserved • Creates a culture of excellence in care and services; Evaluates resident care, resident satisfaction, and departmental operations; Actively seeks ways of improving resident care outcomes, resident satisfaction, and organizational performance; Leads and participates in Operational Excellence initiatives • Works to remove barriers and obstacles to achieve community goals and directs efforts of each department to ensure the community prospers and serves its residents, families and staff well • Promotes a work environment exemplifying our EverTrue Core Christian Values within the staff; Models healthy communication, and promotes cooperation and teamwork; Coaches and mentors supervisors in the management of departmental functions and in the management of staff Skills • Nursing Home Administrator's (NHA) or Personal Care Home Administrator's (PCHA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania • Bachelor's degree in health care related field, business or gerontology • Minimum of two years' experience in a residential management or other related management setting with demonstrated leadership skills • Masters degree Benefits • Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage • Tuition assistance – up to $10,000 per year • Generous paid time off – starting Day 1 of employment - up to 26 days in the first year of employment • 403(b) plan with employer match • Ability to earn referral bonuses • Paid new employee orientation Company Overview • EverTrue is a faith-centered, nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering older adults to live life to the fullest, wherever they call home.
