The Retirement Plan Specialist role involves providing education and guidance on retirement product solutions while working with clients to address their financial challenges. Responsibilities Learn all products in assigned specialty area, including awareness of competitive offerings and regulations Explain and ensure customers understand product options for routine inquiries; make product recommendations Identify if there are multi-product needs and connect customers to other product specialists Work with relationship managers and fulfillment analysts to initiate product requests Skills Bachelor's degree in a business field or equivalent professional experience FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65; or FINRA Series 7 and 66 (required to be approved to do business in all states) Life license (or obtain within 90 days) One year of experience in the financial services industry Basic knowledge of financial products (related to assigned specialty area) Customer service, interpersonal and listening skills to effectively communicate with customers and earn trust Problem-solving and decision-making skills to select and recommend product solutions Written/verbal communication and presentation skills to provide information via phone, email, video, chat, etc Proficiency using MS Office CFP and/or CRPC Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce.com) and digital financial advice platforms Benefits Pension Plan 401k Match Employee Stock Purchase Plan Tuition Reimbursement Disability Insurance Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Employee Discounts Career Training & Development Opportunities Paid Time Off starting at 160 hours annually for employees in their first year of service.
