Nonprofit Megaphone is a remote company focused on empowering nonprofit organizations by assisting them in managing the Google Ad Grant. The Sales Advisor role involves finding and nurturing leads, advising them on plans, and securing commitments to help nonprofits expand their reach. Responsibilities Facilitate new client MRR: Find and secure commitments from prospects to move forward with NPM plans that best meet their marketing needs Manage and grow your pipeline: While leads will be generated for you by the Marketing team, you are also welcome and encouraged to find and connect with your own leads through your own cold emails, LinkedIn outreach, cold calls, webinars, referrals, networking, and more Conduct discovery and follow-up calls: Conduct meetings with prospects to educate them about the Ad Grant(s) and other NPM services, and recommend the right plans for them. A full-time sales advisor is expected to conduct 20 discovery calls per 5-day work week, and to schedule follow-up calls with all promising prospects Vet nonprofit eligibility: Review prospect websites to determine which packages they qualify for Communicate value clearly: Explain NPM’s plans, services, pricing, and terms accurately and confidently Follow up consistently: Proactively check in with leads, validate their needs, and nurture relationships until a decision is made Achieve and exceed goals: Meet or surpass performance benchmarks (MRR added, conversion rate, time to close, discovery calls, etc.) Be available and responsive: Work full-time during business hours, responding quickly to both internal and external requests Engage via video calls: Be comfortable and professional in video meetings with prospects Work independently: Learn quickly and operate efficiently in a remote environment Contribute to MRR growth: Share new ideas and strategies with the sales team to improve results Skills Tech-savvy mindset: Comfortable with computers, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and website structures, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies Self-motivated and adaptable: Ability to work independently in a remote setting while quickly learning and applying new skills Exceptional communication skills: Strong command of the English language, including grammar, composition, and professional written and verbal communication Outstanding time management and organization: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple client needs simultaneously, and maintain accuracy under deadlines Client-first mindset: Eager to help nonprofits succeed and confident in showing how NPM can support their goals Confident meeting with potential clients: Comfortable leading discovery and follow-up calls and presenting NPM's offerings in a clear and compelling way Receptive to feedback: Open to constructive criticism and committed to continuous improvement Analytical and strategic thinker: Able to identify patterns, recognize sales opportunities, and close with confidence Collaborative and professional: Maintains a positive attitude, fosters strong prospect relationships, and contributes to a supportive team environment Detail-oriented and precise: Strong proofreading skills and keen attention to detail to ensure all communications are accurate Values-driven team member: Embodies and upholds NPM's core values: Growth Champion, Results, Always Honorable, No Drama (Llama), and Team Player A quiet, distraction-free environment with a clean, professional background for Zoom calls and meetings, as you'll be engaged in video communications the majority of the time A typing speed of 60+ words per minute Clear phone reception, a computer with a functional webcam, and a headset or headphones for optimal call quality, along with reliable internet connectivity Sales and customer relations experience (preferred): Previous experience and proven success in a sales or client-facing role is a plus, and a strong desire to learn and grow is essential Digital marketing experience (preferred): Familiarity with digital marketing concepts is a plus, but a willingness to learn is just as valuable Benefits 11 Federally Paid Holidays 3 weeks of PTO after 90 days of employment.
