[Remote] Salesforce Administrator

The Salesforce Administrator position supports and maintains the internal Salesforce instance, providing ongoing support to teams, technical maintenance, and enhancing system functionality. Responsibilities User Management & Security Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the full lifecycle of user access, including new hire setup, deactivations, and license management Permissions Management: Maintain roles, profiles, permission sets, and public groups to ensure appropriate access levels across the organization Troubleshooting: Serve as the first line of defense for user issues, resolving login errors or permission blockers Data Integrity & System Maintenance Data Hygiene: Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests, duplicate data cleansing, and data integrity checks Mass Updates: Execute data updates and migrations using tools such as Dataloader, Workbench, and spreadsheets/pivot tables System Monitoring: Monitor Apex jobs and other system alerts to ensure technical health, addressing technical debt upkeep based on analysis provided by the Salesforce Platform Manager Configuration & Request Execution Ticket Resolution: Execute assignments and own user troubleshooting requests that have been triaged by the Salesforce Platform Manager Reports & Dashboards: Fulfill user requests for new or updated reports and dashboards to support business intelligence needs Feature Configuration: Utilize best practices to complete configuration changes including Flow,custom fields, and page layouts Minor Updates: Manage smaller Salesforce modification requests that do not require complex architectural redesigns Documentation & Training Process Documentation: Draft and revise Salesforce documentation of processes for teams and maintain log of architectural changes in the change tracker Training Materials: Create training materials and provide user training (individual or group) to improve adoption and system understanding Communication: Clearly communicate the status of requests to users across departments to ensure transparency Task Tracking: Follow the process outlined by the Salesforce Platform Manager to track the current status of all tasks for visibility within the operations team Strategic Growth CPQ Support: Provide support for the CPQ process and architecture while learning under the guidance of the Salesforce Platform Manager Release Readiness: Assist in evaluating and installing new Salesforce releases, ensuring the system is prepared for upgrades App Evaluation: Support the evaluation of 3rd party tools and new features as they become relevant Proactive Process Management: Identification of gaps and suggestions for improvements Change Management: Supporting change management communications relating to system updates, ensuring user and quality testing of updates and new features is completed in a timely and thorough manner Skills Salesforce product knowledge and at least 12+ months of hands-on experience in Sales and Service Clouds Intermediate to advanced skills in building and troubleshooting Salesforce flows Demonstrated project management skills with at least 2 years of experience in requirements gathering, training, and change management Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Proven history of retaining and expanding end-user platform knowledge through documentation and hands-on teaching Ability to balance big-picture business goals with task-specific execution Effective cross-functional collaboration skills, capable of working independently or as part of a team Salesforce Administrator Certification or higher Experience in Salesforce CPQ, Cases (Email-to-Case), and a preference for exposure to Apex, Visualforce, or JavaScript Benefits Complete Medical, Vision, Dental Insurance, Short-term/Long-term Disability, and Life Insurance fully covered by Mogli Matching 401k plan Ownership of Mogli and equity grant Flexible Time Off per Mogli’s FTO Policy 9 US Federal Holidays and 6 paid sick days Work from Anywhere in the United States Support for professional development, including professional certification Employee Assistance Plan, AD&D, etc Company Overview Mogli empowers human connection through elegant innovation & conscientious partnership via communications apps built natively on Salesforce It was founded in 2011, and is headquartered in Niwot, Colorado, USA, with a workforce of 11-50 employees.
