Fenchel Family Law, PC is inviting a senior family law attorney to step into a lead pod role within an already operating, profitable firm structure. This is a leadership seat for an attorney who wants partner level autonomy, strong institutional support, and predictable compensation without the burden of running a firm alone. What already exists Fenchel Family Law, PC currently operates a senior led pod with associate and paralegal leverage, dedicated billing support, and consistent high asset matters. That pod runs independently, profitably, and without bottlenecks. This role mirrors that structure. You are not asked to build something from scratch. You are stepping into a proven operating model. The role You lead your own pod. You control your caseload, strategy, and standards while practicing within a firm that provides infrastructure, marketing, billing, collections, and administrative support. You are trusted to exercise judgment, discretion, and leadership. This role supports remote practice, with Bay Area court appearances and in person collaboration as appropriate. What you will do • Lead complex divorce and contested custody matters independently • Advise clients on high stakes financial and parenting decisions • First chair trials and contested hearings when litigation is required • Select and supervise associate attorneys supporting your pod • Set strategy, delegate execution, and maintain quality control • Collaborate laterally with firm leadership on growth and refinement How practice works here Senior attorneys at Fenchel Family Law, PC: • Begin cases with clear written strategy and expectations • Communicate proactively with clients through written updates • Follow up after hearings and major milestones • Respond to client communications by the next business day • Practice with discipline, preparation, and professionalism This is not aspirational. This is the existing standard. Autonomy and case selection Because the firm has a consistent marketing engine, you are not dependent on accepting every case. You decide: • Which matters align with your judgment • How your practice is shaped • When to litigate and when to resolve Quality matters more than volume. Billing and collections The firm handles billing and collections. Senior attorneys do not chase payments or manage uncomfortable financial conversations. The firm maintains a 99 percent collection rate. Your time stays focused on strategy, leadership, and results. Compensation structure This role supports total annual compensation exceeding $340,000, excluding origination bonuses. Compensation is structured, transparent, and performance based. It includes: • Base salary • Monthly revenue bonuses for exceeding a 115 billable hour benchmark • Monthly management bonuses tied to associate attorney performance • Client satisfaction bonuses tied to verified five star reviews • Origination bonuses at 10 percent of collected fees on matters you personally originate Leadership and leverage are compensated directly. Long term earnings growth comes from structure, not higher billable hour demands.
