What You’ll Own – Core Responsibilities As a senior product manager for our Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and broader renewable‑energy portfolio, you will be the strategic bridge between market demand, engineering excellence, and commercial success. You’ll lead cross‑functional teams to define, design, and deliver end‑to‑end solar solutions that power utility‑scale projects from 20 MW to 500 MW and beyond. Strategic Product Leadership Define the product vision, roadmap, and go‑to‑market strategy for utility‑scale solar PV, energy‑storage integration, and high‑voltage underground cable offerings. Translate customer insights, regulatory trends, and emerging technologies into clear product requirements and business cases. Partner with senior sales and account‑management leaders to shape winning proposals, respond to RFPs, and drive revenue growth. Monitor product performance against revenue, margin, and adoption targets, and adjust tactics to stay ahead of competition. End‑to‑End Solution Design & Delivery Lead the creation of detailed solar‑design packages, including array layout, single‑line diagrams, collection‑system studies, and installation specifications. Utilize AutoCAD, Excel, and proprietary TE engineering tools to produce precision‑engineered design deliverables. Apply NFPA NEC code knowledge to ensure compliance, safety, and cost‑effective construction. Coordinate with external subcontractors, permitting authorities, and on‑site teams to guarantee flawless execution. Conduct site visits, document existing conditions, and feed practical insights back into design iterations. Innovation & Continuous Improvement Champion research and development initiatives that explore next‑generation solar technologies, energy‑storage concepts, and high‑voltage cable innovations. Contribute to the evolution of internal engineering standards, toolsets, and workflow processes, driving higher efficiency and quality. Identify opportunities for process enhancements, develop policies, and mentor junior engineers in best‑practice methodologies.
