[Remote] Social Media Coordinator

They are seeking a creative, analytical, and passionate Social Media Coordinator to manage content ideation, graphic design, short-form video editing, and community management across Instagram and TikTok. Responsibilities Strategic Planning - Develop social media strategies and creative ideas for Instagram & TikTok across a variety of brands / sectors Creative Briefing - Turn social media ideas into briefs and scripts for production Graphic Design - Create unique graphic content, primarily for socials with the capability to adapt designs for other digital and marketing touchpoints Content Production - Own the end-to-end creation of social content – from concepting, filming through delivery Short-Form Video Editing - Create quick-turn edits that respond to current audios, trends, or audience conversations Platform Management - Utilize social media management platforms to draft, schedule, and post content Analytics Reporting - Monitor, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of all social channels, content performance, and campaigns Copywriting - Emulate various brand voices on Instagram & TikTok captions and comment replies; as well as contributing to NinetyEight agency blogs and presentations Community Management - Engage with existing conversations on Instagram & TikTok as the brand: identifying trending videos and subculture niches to comment on and participate in Social Listening - Track social media trends, current cultural conversations, noteworthy news and audience insights and apply these to brand engagement Skills Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred) 1-3 years of relevant experience Fluent in social media platforms (mainly Instagram & TikTok) Experience, interest, and knowledge of the Nostalgic Brands, Music Festival, and Travel niches Advanced proficiency in CapCut, TikTok, or similar short-form video editing software Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator; familiarity with the broader Adobe Creative Suite is a plus Proficient in creative writing, both in long-form blogs and short-form captions Proficient in designing decks on Canva Keeps up with current social media trends, culture, and digital conversations Confident speaker who is unafraid to share their ideas and present in front of clients Great time management and ability to meet deadlines Self-starter and can manage their work independently Strong attention to detail and well-organized Great written and verbal communication skills Able to take criticism and feedback constructively Niche interests and hobbies Passionate about understanding Gen Z Creative portfolio, writing samples, case studies (Link or PDF) Take our Koi Pond Personality Test and share your results in the application Benefits PTO, paid holidays, and a company-wide quiet week at the end of the year Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plan Professional development opportunities Team events and offsites Company Overview NinetyEight specializes in Gen Z marketing, offering digital marketing, social media management, and insights.
