Job Summary EliteJob Moderation is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Remote Spam Comment Moderator to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, engaging, and spam-free online environment across multiple platforms. This role involves reviewing user-generated content, identifying spam or inappropriate comments, and ensuring compliance with community guidelines. Key Responsibilities • Monitor and review comments and user-generated content on assigned platforms. • Identify and remove spam, offensive, or inappropriate content according to company guidelines. • Flag suspicious or potentially harmful activity for further review. • Ensure consistent enforcement of community standards and policies. • Maintain accurate records of moderated content and provide feedback or reports when necessary. • Collaborate with team members to improve moderation strategies and workflow efficiency. • Respond to queries or escalations from users regarding content moderation issues. Required Skills and Qualifications • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle forms of spam or inappropriate content. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. • Basic understanding of online communities, social media platforms, and digital etiquette. • Ability to remain objective, professional, and consistent under pressure. • Familiarity with moderation tools or content management systems is a plus. Experience • Previous experience in content moderation, online community management, or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. • Experience with social media platforms, forums, or online communities is advantageous. Working Hours • Part-time position with flexible hours. • Shifts can be scheduled to accommodate different time zones. • Estimated 15–25 hours per week.
