[Remote] Sr. Manager, TPM, Alexa Communications

They are seeking a Senior Manager, TPM for the Alexa Communications team to manage a portfolio of programs aimed at developing next-generation communication features powered by LLM technology. Responsibilities • Lead and mentor a team of 10+ Technical Program Managers supporting Comms initiatives across sync, async, contacts management, device software and common services • Partner with engineering teams, leadership, product management, and UX to ensure we're building the best customer experience using innovative technologies • Serve as the single POC for broader Alexa+ mechanisms like LRs, Deep Dives, Product Days • Stakeholder management across Alexa and partner teams and manage executive level communications • Lead the roadmap prioritization process • Manage cross functional quality initiatives like CPDR deep dives and fixes • Establish and improve processes for managing complex, cross-functional programs and coordinating release schedules Skills • 15+ years experience in technical program/product management or software engineering • 7+ years experience managing technical teams, including managers • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field • Strong technical background with ability to understand complex architectures and technologies • Experience leading large-scale consumer-facing products/services • Track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment • Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills • Experience with AI/ML, LLM, privacy/security technologies • Knowledge of cloud technologies and distributed systems • Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies • Strong product sense and customer focus Benefits • Equity • Sign-on payments • Full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits Company Overview • Amazon is a tech firm with a focus on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence.
