[Remote] Sr. Software Engineer-(IBM SECURITY)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Zolon Tech Solutions Inc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on developing and maintaining APIs and web services integrated with IBM Security tools. The role involves backend-only development using technologies such as IBM iSIM/ISAM and REST/SOAP APIs. Responsibilities • 25% Perform technical detail design, coding, testing of applications. • Serves as subject matter expert for both customer and internal discussions related to maintaining and enhancing existing software systems. • Develop and/or analyze interface design documentation. • Comply with hardware and software systems standards and procedures. • Deliver large systems for tens of thousands of users. • Comply with code quality, migration and dev/ops standards and policies. Skills • 5-8 years of experience preferred. • Ability to communicate technical requirements to all levels of expertise. • Proficient in establishing and maintaining good working relationships. • Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC). • Proficient with integrating complex and/or existing systems. • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, C, Python, etc.). • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. • Knowledge of database technologies (e.g. cloud, SQL, Oracle, Mongo DB, PostgreSQL, etc.). • Fundamental knowledge of software engineers' best practices, SOAP and REST services. • Knowledge of test-first practices including Test-Driven Development (TDD) for unit tests and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) for automated acceptance tests. • Strong experience with Single Sign On, Oauth2, IBM WebSeal, and IBM Security Verify Governance integrations. • Knowledge of Code quality and promotion practices. • Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure). • The incumbent is required to immediately disclose any debarment, exclusion, or other event that makes them ineligible to perform work directly or indirectly on health care programs. • Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads that can be variable for long periods of time. • Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. • Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging. • 25% Perform technical detail design, coding, testing of applications. • Serves as subject matter expert for both customer and internal discussions related to maintaining and enhancing existing software systems. • Develop and/or analyze interface design documentation. • Comply with hardware and software systems standards and procedures. • Deliver large systems for tens of thousands of users. • Comply with code quality, migration and dev/ops standards and policies. • Python (nice-to-have).
