The Role: Remote Telehealth Clinician - WeightWatchers Clinic We're looking for a compassionate and experienced Remote Telehealth Clinician to be part of our WW Clinic/Sequence team. As a clinician with our telehealth platform, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals on their journey towards better health and weight management. This is a unique chance to be part of a pioneering effort in obesity care, utilizing the latest in GLP-1 medications and comprehensive support services. Key Responsibilities: Provide empathetic and personalized clinical care through our state-of-the-art telehealth platform, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for our members. Conduct thorough reviews of patient intake information and medical history via video and chat consultations to offer informed clinical guidance and treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Foster ongoing clinician-patient relationships through regular treatment evaluations and progress check-ins, ensuring continuous support and adjustments as necessary. Educate patients on the science behind obesity, discuss potential treatment options including revolutionary GLP-1 medications like Wegovy, Ozempic, and Mounjaro, and guide them on lifestyle adjustments to support their health goals. Maintain a high level of professionalism and "bedside manner" in a virtual setting, leveraging online tools and technology to communicate effectively with patients. Essential Qualifications: A medical degree (MD, DO, NP, etc.) from an accredited university, with current, active board certification in your field. Active medical licenses in multiple states, with a clean malpractice history and standing in good standing. A strong proficiency in using digital tools and platforms to deliver care, communicate with patients, and manage clinical responsibilities efficiently. Availability of at least 15 hours per week, spread across Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 8-10 hours dedicated to synchronous video consultations. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in telehealth or obesity medicine, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this field. A background in utilizing GLP-1 medications and other contemporary treatments for obesity. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds and needs. Skills and Competencies: To excel in this role, you'll need: Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in electronic health records and telehealth platforms. Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
